Piyo Fitness Class – Trial Classes beginning Thursday, March 2nd at 6 PM – Aerobic Room at the Fitness Center.
From results received during the wellness survey conducted in December 2016, it was identified that a number of residents are interested in participating in Pilates/Yoga instruction and a need for no fee classes to be scheduled in the early evening. In an effort to accommodate these requests, a NEW Piyo class will run on a trial basis through the month of March on Thursday evenings at 6 PM. Participation in these classes will be monitored during this period to determine a direction moving forward. You will need to bring your own fitness mat as the facility does not provide materials for the class.
Piyo is a total – body fitness class. It combines practices of Pilates and Yoga to help you build strength, lose weight, increase flexibility and have a great time while doing it. You can build lean muscle, burn calories and get total body definition all in this one class.
We are excited in the opportunity of growing our programming in 2017 and encourage those interested in fitness to give the class a try!
